It's that time of the month again, favourites! It's actually scary how quickly the months go, but I love making these posts, keep reading to see what things I've been loving throughout the first year of 2014! Let me know in the comments what you've been loving this month :)

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Parfum
This perfume smells insanely good, it's so feminine and classy, I love the packaging and I've been wearing this scent since I got it for Christmas!

Review | ELF Single Eyeshadows

Hey guys, so I recently picked up some of the Single Eyeshadows from ELF, I absolutely love the brand and the majority of their products are really good quality and are so inexpensive. The company are usually offering some sort of crazy discount between 10 and 60 percent off or free delivery, so these are the best times to make an order!
I picked up a little selection of the single eyeshadows from the studio line, I picked five colours which are all a little different and are so beautiful, I love every colour.

Review | MAC 266 Brush

When it comes to my eyebrows, I'm pretty fussy, I like them to look as close to perfect as possible, eyebrows shape and frame your face so much that if they don't look nice and groomed your whole makeup look can sometimes look a little downhill.
There are so many different products that can be used in the eyebrows, one of my favourites is just to just either a wax or eyeshadow to fill in any sparse gaps and try and match my eyebrows up. Until now, I was really struggling with my eyebrows because I didn't have a good brush to use, now if you're like me you'll agree that if you don't have good tools you can't do the job properly. So I invested in the MAC 266 small angled brush, one word, perfection.

I used to use a standard £1.50 brush from ELF which I'm not dissing, ELF brushes are fantastic and so inexpensive, however it just wasn't allowing me to create the look I needed and everyone raves about this brush about how good it is for eyebrows and it really is so good. The bristles are very dense but at the same time flexible so you can go from creating very precise lines to natural flicks in the brows.

January Beauty Wishlist

Hello lovelies! I'm starting a new monthly post this year, each month I will be writing a wish list, so for each month I will be telling you guys what I am wanting to try or get my hands on! I love reading these types of posts, so I thought this would be a great post to add to my blog each month! Let me know what you think :)

On my wish list for January are the following items...

indeed Labs Hydraluron Face Masks 4 Pack £19.99
I'm a massive fan of the Hydraluron serum do to spot these on the shelves in Boots last week got me a tad excited! I didn't pick any up as I'm pretty sure they will go on offer at some point so I think I'll wait till they do to give them a whirl.

ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer £3.75
I've been looking for a replacement for the collection concealer as I think it could be giving me spots, one of my readers recommended this concealer so I'd love to order it and try it. I've read lots of reviews and it's got a pretty good rating overall from what I've read!

This is something that I feel everyone has tried but me, it sounds like such a refreshing product, although my skin isn't oily and it says it's meant for oily skin I still think it would be a nifty and nice product to have especially for days when you wake up with a pesky spot or two.

I recently purchased the standard Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara which I am really enjoying, I will be reviewing it near the end of the month. I really want to try the curl version now, a couple of people have recommended it and I'm always up for a mascara that will make my lashes super curly and keep them that way.

HD Brows Palette £19.96
I love having nicely shaped, groomed eyebrows and I normally just use a standard brown eyeshadow to fill mine in a little, I'm currently loving 'crushed walnut' from Natural Collection. It would be so nice to try the HD brows palette as I've read and heard so many good things about it. I don't think its too expensive either considering you get four colours inside the palette and they would last a good while.

Back to having curly eyelashes, everyone says how good this eyelash curler is and I'm not convinced for some reason, I wonder how it can be any better than a standard Boots one. But I really want to give it a go so I can be proven wrong because there are so many people that love this tool so it must have a plus point, it is a little pricey for an eyelash curler though!?

What's on your wish list this month?

Review | Bourjois Colour Boost Glossy Lip Crayons

Hellooo everyone, a little review post for you today on a favourite product of mine, the Bourjois Lip Crayons, I know these have been around for a wee while now but I always like to try things properly before even considering reviewing them, and as I love these I want you guys to know!

I believe there are six shades in the range altogether and I own three of these, I believe the other colours available include a pillar box red, pinky red and an orange. The colours I have are 06 Plum Russian, 02 Fuchsia Libre and 04 Peach on the Beach.

I love the formulation of these as they are so creamy, pigmented and glossy. I'm not a massive fan of lipstick as it's always such a faff to re apply and keep it looking good so these are a big love for me. They are simply a jumbo crayon for your lips, they have the pigmentation of a lipstick, the gloss of a lipgloss and the feeling of a lip balm so it's like a three in one.

Non sticky but glossy and super pigmented are what I like to hear, these definitely match up and are one of my favourite lip products of the moment, these also were in my 2013 beauty favourites as I love them so much, they've got a fair bit of use and I can see myself using these a whole lot more!

Best Beauty Bits | 2013

So I'm probably a tad late on this, but I have had other posts scheduled and I didn't think you guys would mind too much! Today I'm going to talk about my favourite things of 2013, basically my best beauty bits. Skincare, haircare and makeup. I might make a video over on YouTube to go alongside this post but that won't be up till next week if I do :)

Starting off with haircare I used this Toni & Guy Salt Spray whenever I wore my hair down to add texture and definition, it really works and gives you a kinda of beachy hair style without looking messy or sticky. I also fell in love with the Liz Earle hair oil which is amazing, I use this every time I was my hair to add shine and to keep the ends of my hair nourished and from breaking off, I really recommend this and I will continue to use it this year.

For skincare I have been using my Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser all year, it is the only moisturiser I have found to date that keeps my skin dewy and at bay all day long, previously I've had so much trouble with dry skin appearing throughout the day. Also to keep my dry skin tamed I have been using the Hydraluron face serum non stop, this works incredibly and if you haven't tried it yet you seriously need to!

Makeup wise of course I've still been loving my bare minerals face products, the foundation, well rested eye brightener and mineral veil are just wonderful, I can't say a bad word about them. I know mineral/powder foundations don't work for everybody, I'm kind of the opposite in that liquid foundations really don't work for me :( but I love this brand and these products live in my makeup bag and have done all year. I branched out into liquid concealers in 2013, I got the Bare Minerals stroke of light in a set and I now use it all the time, just to hide those pesky dark circles and brighten the eye area, I then use the Bare Minerals well rested on top! Of course a 2013 favourites wouldn't be the same without the Collection lasting perfection concealer, this is such a good concealer for £4.19, it covers incredibly well and doesn't go cakey whatsoever.

For mascaras I discovered the Maybelline falsies and love it to bits, really adds length to my lashes and the formula is just right. I also still really like Benefit's bad gal lash and I'm even starting to slightly like the they're real, who'd of thought! My favourite eyeshadow palettes has to be the £4.00 MUA palettes, none in particular just them in general, they're such good quality and the colours are beautiful, super pigmented and cheap, a great dupe for the Naked palettes by Urban Decay.

Lipsticks I must say I've loved the Kate Moss collection from Rimmel, they're all lovely colours and the formula, both original and matte is lovely. Also after discovering the lip crayons this year I have to say my favourites have been the Bourjois ones, especially Plum Russian. Oh and I had to sneak in the Lush lip scrub in here as it's so cool and works so well. Maybelline brought out their fantastic colour tattoo cream eyeshadows in 2013 and I think everyone will agree they're great, I actually prefer them to the MAC paint pots as they're a lot more moisturising, wish there were more colours! To keep my eyeshadows in place for a little longer I have been reaching for my MUA pro base eyelid primer a fair amount, it's very affordable at 2 or 3 pounds and works really well, a great Urban Decay dupe again.

What else, hmm.. For eyebrows I've used my ELF brow kit constantly, it's so cheap yet works wonders, I can't say more about it than just go and try it, so much better than the Benefit brow zings. Another fab product of the year has to be the Real Techniques brushes, I can't pick which ones I like the best as they all have their different purposes, they're so useful and make your makeup look incredible. For highlighting I have loved my mary lou manizer from theBalm, until I smashed it into tiny pieces, but I also used the Rimmel wake me up liquid highlighters a fair bit too.
And last but not least my absolute favourite perfume of the year has to be the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, incredible and just sums everything up!

I'm sorry this post is a bit of a ramble and very long, I really want to make a video and I'll try if I can find the time.

What were your 2013 favourites?
