Ultimate Contouring with Beauty UK

Contouring has to be one of the most popular things in the world of beauty right now. Every brand from drugstore to high end seems to be releasing their own specific contouring products, so whether you like creams or powders, there's something out there for every budget and style.

Beauty UK have released the Ultimate Contour Chubby Sticks which are available in four totally unique shades so you can really achieve your desired contouring goals. Contouring chubby sticks are very well known in the beauty world these days so its lovely to see a great brand like Beauty UK putting their own spin on the product. The chubby sticks are identical to the Sweet Cheeks Blush Sticks which I absolutely adore and reviewed earlier this year, so I had nothing but high hopes for the new contouring set.

Changing My Lifestyle

I was always the person who hated the gym and vegetables, I would skip PE at school and avoid walking where possible, in summary I was pretty lazy. Over the past year I have completely changed my lifestyle for the better and I feel incredible. I have come to realise that being fit and healthy is so important both physically and mentally and it is now something I am truly passionate about and I wanted to share this with you.

Eating a balanced and nutritional diet is now part of my daily routine and I love it, I enjoy food so much more since eating things that are good for me and give me energy. I look forward to all of my meals and particularly enjoy eating vegetables, I find myself with a plate full every evening and there are so many to choose from, the variety is endless. I found that I lost weight when I cut down on consumption of carbohydrates and sugar, I would previously eat far too much of things like chips, rice, bread, chocolate and crisps which in reality weren't doing my body any good, just making me feel bloated and lethargic. Being healthy and happy is all about balance and I can still treat myself to my favourite things, I mean what girl doesn't love a cheeky piece of Dairy Milk Oreo?!

In terms of exercise, I have never been interested in attending a standard gym so I decided to look into gym classes which is when I discovered Clubbercise, an hour of fun cardio dance workout to the latest chart hits. I absolutely love going to Clubbercise and I now go to two or three classes a week, it's become one of my hobbies and it doesn't even feel like you're going to do a workout. I also go to gym classes such as Piloxing which is a combination of pilates, boxing and dance as well as Boogie Bounce, a cardio workout performed on a mini trampoline.

I also invested in a Fitbit last year and I hands down have to say its one of the best things I have ever purchased. I wear the Fitbit Charge HR which has the heart rate sensor that makes your data more accurate and specific to you. Although it's not the prettiest of arm candy it's worth its waiting gold and it keeps me motivated to be up, about and moving instead of sitting around, it's actually slightly addictive and the challenges you can have against friends and family make it really fun.

Since changing my lifestyle I am such a happier and more confident person, I can wear clothes that I feel good in and I can even run up the stairs without becoming short of breath!

How do you stay fit and healthy?

Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box

I have tried a fair few different beauty box subscriptions since being a beauty blogger, some that have been absolutely wonderful and others that weren't so great. Look Incredible is a brand that offer different variations on their beauty boxes, I've previously reviewed their standard beauty box but today I will be taking a look at their deluxe edition. The Look Incredible Standard Beauty Box retails for £18.99 and the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box* retails a little higher at £35.00.

The deluxe edition, as expected, is a complete luxury and contains five full size products from well known and reputable brands that you will love. The standard beauty box still contains some amazing products but if you're looking for high end, luxury brands then you'll definitely want to try this edition. Inside this months box I discovered the following lovely products and brands...

Things That Make Me Happy

I'm going to be honest in that last week was a bit of a different week with highs and definite lows, my kitty was quite poorly and it was really heartbreaking and tough to see her in such a way. Thankfully Tiggy is now on the road to recovery but after reflecting, I have realised how important it is to be happy, positive and motivated to get through the tough times. We all experience rubbish days, weeks and even months and thats perfectly normal but its so important to understand the things that really make you happy, to keep yourself positive and maintain your mental health. So today I am turning to this post to reflect on the things that make me happy.

Introducing Technic Cosmetics

I was recently contacted by the lovely team at Technic Cosmetics who offered to send me a selection of their products to try, I've heard of the brand briefly before but had never tried anything to date. You can find Technic Cosmetics on websites such as Love Thy Makeup and Fragrance Direct, they are a super affordable brand and offer a huge selection of wonderful items, I would say they are comparable to brands such as Collection Cosmetics and Makeup Revolution. I am very keen and excited to share my first impressions of the brand with you and tell you more about some of their wonderful products.

NEW IN: Natural Collection Cosmetics

I really enjoy drugstore makeup and I also really like good quality cosmetics with a budget friendly price therefore the brand Natural Collection, exclusive to Boots, is one of my all time favourites. I was scrolling through Instagram a few days ago and spotted the brand were about to announce some new products, very exciting, and when I popped into my local Boots store that afternoon, the products were already on the shelves ready and waiting for me! Of course I had to pick up the majority and tell you all about them.

Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette

When I spotted two for £10 on Sleek in Superdrug a couple of weeks ago I jumped for joy slightly, this has to be the best offer when it comes to Sleek and I, of course, came away with some goodies. I've had my eye on the highlighting palettes for a little while, they looked beautiful and I am a little bit of a sucker when it comes to highlighters, I definitely have too many!

Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare

Finding a skincare range that works for you can be a challenge especially as products are becoming more expensive and there are so many different things on the market. I have been an avid lover of the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop for months now and I swore I'd never use anything else, until I discovered the Vitamin E range from Superdrug. When I spotted the range in my local Superdrug I was quickly drawn in by the similarity in products to The Body Shop and I also liked the much lower price tag. I decided to bite the bullet and pick up a few things to try in hope that they'd work wonders for my dry, sensitive skin.

Starting a YouTube Channel

I have had my YouTube channel for a pretty long time now, I started both YouTube and blogging back in 2013 and can I just say that I would never go back or change a thing. Over the past few months I feel like I have found such a love for my channel and it seems to be growing into something I am so proud of. Starting a YouTube channel can be very daunting and there are now so many people doing it, there is a lot of competition and challenge to get yourself out there. Throughout my experience so far I have learnt a lot of little things that may help you if you're interested in getting into the world of YouTube.

The beauty box costs £18.99 per month but there is an additional £2.50 delivery charge, not a huge cost for delivery but it would be nice to see the delivery cost included. Blogging With a Full Time Job

Blogging has always been a part-time hobby for me and I have always had a full time job ever since I started my little space on the internet. It is definitely time to admit how much of a challenge it is to actually find time to blog, whilst also holding down a full time job. In an ideal scenario I'd love to have a part-time career and also blog part-time, perhaps the future will allow this but for now I have to make do. I absolutely love blogging and if I could do it every day I really would, I find those bloggers who post daily so inspirational and motivating. Lately I have found it a struggle to fit blogging in and so I have come up with a few simple solutions that may help you if you're like me.

The Balm Nude Tude Eyeshadow Palette

Nude Tude by The Balm is a palette I have had my eye on for a very long time, it has always been such a staple palette in the beauty world and every time it popped up in a YouTube video, I wanted it. If you watch my YouTube channel you'll know that a few weeks ago I managed to snap the palette up in TK Maxx for just £14.99, total bargain if I do say so myself. I immediately started to use the beautiful shades and I think I have found a new favourite palette in my collection.

CaseApp Custom iPhone Case

I must admit that having a pretty case for my iPhone is a bit of a must, I mean realistically who doesn't want their iPhone to look pretty?! The lovely people at CaseApp recently contacted me to see if I'd like to design my own iPhone case, hell yes. I normally just use a silicone case on my iPhone as I am terrified of smashing the thing but I thought I would take a risk and upgrade to a personalised plastic case.

I had already seen a design I liked made by the lovely Robyn from Phases of Robyn who designed her own iPhone case recently this year. I took inspiration from Robyn's design and changed it slightly by adding the marble effect to the bottom section instead of plain white. The layout for this was super easy to make on Photoshop and the uploading process was easy and fool proof, allowing me to see the design on the iPhone before I hit the order button.

Today I am going to share just a few of my current favourite products that I've been using to create that matte eye look.

Stress hits everyone, whether it comes in small does or large, we all experience it in some way or another, sometimes on a daily basis. It's important in life to stay positive, receive yourself from any stress and enjoy every day as it comes, life is far too short to worry about the little things. Lately I will admit that I have had days where I have felt awful, stressed and seriously down and so I have come up with a little list of twenty things to do when you're feeling like this, and they have all been tried and tested by me!

Getting Your Blogging Mojo Back

I absolutely love blogging, its my own personal space on the internet where I can talk about whatever I like and really let my personality run free. As much as I love my hobby, it can be hard work sometimes and with a full-time job, blog and youtube channel I will admit I struggle to keep up at times, but thats perfectly normal and okay. Recently I've really got out of the swing of things in terms of my blog, I've been really focused on my youtube channel meaning my content has taken a bit of a back seat, I guess you could say I sorta lost my blogging mojo.

Today I thought I would share with you a few tips that I have found really useful to get that mojo back, to re-inspire myself and get back to it with my blog.

BH Cosmetics Sculpt and Blend 10 Piece Brush Set

I stumbled across the BH Cosmetics Sculpt and Blend 10 Piece Brush Set back in 2015 whilst browsing the aisles of my local TK Maxx, which is of course one of my favourite things to do! I tend to find a load of rubbish most of the time and end up walking away tempted handed but on this occasion it was slightly different. BH Cosmetics is a brand I have heard about a lot in the beauty community and I have wanted to try their eyeshadows in particular for a long time. When I spotted this brush set for just £14.99 I knew I had to give it a go, although I definitely didn't need any more brushes!

Top Quality Brushes on a Budget

When it comes to makeup brushes there are a lot of brands out there to choose from, some are budget friendly and some are more of a luxury splurge but personally I recently discovered a set of five makeup brushes, identical to Real Techniques for just over a fiver.

I thoroughly enjoy a spot of browsing on eBay from time to time and a few weeks ago I landed on a set of five makeup brushes that looked identical to Real Techniques and came in a variation of different colours. What surprised me the most was the price, I popped a purple set into my basket and a few days later they arrived in the post, in total the set cost me just £5.90 with free delivery.
