Rimmel Brow Shake Filling Powders

Eyebrows are my thing, they are one of my features I actually like and spend a little too much time on, on a daily basis. When I hear about a new brow product launch I instantly become excited so when these newbies from Rimmel landed on my doorstep, I got stuck right in.

There are some really good brow products coming into the drugstore recently, each brand is really upping their game and this time it's the new Brow Shake Filling Powders* from Rimmel. As expected these are really affordable at £5.99 and I'm sure they are in some sort of offer in Boots or Superdrug, oh I love a good 3 for 2!

On initial glance, the products look exactly like a liquid eyeliner in their sleek packaging, each shade matches the colour of the product which is really handy. There are four shades available in the range to suit all different eyebrow colours out there and to suit whatever style you wish to achieve. The shade I have been using and have fallen in love with is medium brown, it's a lovely mid-tone brown colour with an ash undertone, so there is no worry of my eyebrows feeling too warm or red-toned.

When I first had a go with the brow powder I was a little sceptical and I found it a little tricky to get the hang of but after a few goes and a little practice, it's really easy to achieve a natural look with the product. The applicator is slightly thicker than I'd usually opt for, it has a rounded shape to it and the product sits on the end so you can apply with ease. I would definitely say that a little does go a long way with this product, I find that I don't need to go back for more powder, one dip is enough for one eyebrow which means the product itself will last a really good amount of time in my collection. The design of the applicator on this product is certainly designed for those who prefer a more rough look to their brows instead of a very sculpted look, it can be quite hard to achieve a sculpted look with the applicator but you can easily dip your favourite eyebrow brush into the product to achieve the desired effect.

Overall I'm really enjoying using these powders, whether you choose to use the product alone or use it as a setting product over the top of another, I think these made a great addition to any eyebrow addict.

Have you spotted these in stores yet?
