Things I'm Loving Right Now

Finding products that work for you can be pretty challenging when there are so many variations and different brands available on the market now, and sometimes what works for one person may not necessarily work for you. I'm always discovering and trying new products and brands in the beauty market in an attempt to find the perfect products for me. Lately, I've been shopping my stash a little and I've discovered some products that really do work for me that I wanted to share with you. This isn't necessarily my monthly favourites, more of my favourite things right now kind of post.

Pixi is a brand I hadn't really discovered until last year and as soon as I tried a few things, I knew it was a brand I would continue to buy from. I've been trying out the Strobe & Bronze Palette which retails for £24.00 and you get six pans of product at 1.8g each, enough to last a pretty long time. This palette includes three strobe shades and three bronze shades ranging from matte to shimmer. The three strobe shades are all shimmer designed to add light and radiance to the complexion, the three matte shades consist of one shimmer and two matte, perfect for contouring, bronzing and adding that sunkissed glow. I love the texture of this palette, each shade is highly pigmented and blends into the skin beautifully, it's a great go-to palette for every day.

Also from Pixi, I'm really enjoying their Lower Lash Mascara which actually came in a little set and I totally forgot I had it until recently. I've always liked bottom lash mascaras as they are so easy to use and are less messy, I previously used the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara but when that ran out, I decided to try something new. This mascara comes in a tiny little tube and has the smallest applicator ever, it applies a good amount of product to the lashes in one go and is super black. I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking of this product so there is no worry of looking like a panda half way throughout the day!

My other makeup favourite at the moment is the Seventeen Stay Time Foundation which I tried a while ago as I am a huge lover of the Stay Time Concealer. The foundation is extremely affordable at just £6.49 and is available in six shades which for some people may be a problem, thankfully the lightest shade of porcelain is a very good match for me. Stay Time is the highest coverage foundation I think I've ever tried, it has quite a thick consistency which means you have to be quick when blending and you only need a small amount of product, the finished result is fantastic, my skin looks flawless and it feels hydrated and glowy.

Finally, I've been trying to look after my teeth a little more lately and I am trying to make them a little whiter to improve my smile. I've used whitening strips in the past so they aren't massively stained therefore when I received a packaged of BlanX goodies in the post, I was really excited to give them a go. The whole BlanX range contains no peroxide so the products will whiten your teeth naturally without damage or sensitivity. I've been using the BlanX White Shock Blue Formula as my everyday toothpaste as it claims to make your smile brighter and whiter immediately as it reacts with light. I do notice a difference with this and that's why I am using it as my everyday toothpaste as the effects straight after you've brushed your teeth are really good, it also leaves my mouth feeling super clean and healthy. The toothpaste is only £5.00 from Boots so it is definitely a good one to choose over your regular toothpaste which would most likely cost around the same price.

I've also been using the BlanX White Shock Intensive Whitening Treatment a few times a week to try and boost the whiteness of my smile, this little kit comes with an LED light which I was most excited about as I've wanted one of these for a while. You use the whitening treatment like normal toothpaste to brush your teeth and you then use the LED light for just one minute or you can keep the light on for ten minutes for a more intensive effect. You are supposed to use this treatment every day for two weeks to see results but I've definitely already seen results by using it just a few times a week, I'm really impressed and the kit will only set you back £16.00 from Boots.
